Are a fully licensed professional interested in joining a small practice. You are affirming of LGBTQ+ identities, involved in your community, and a champion of social justice and human rights. You are someone who values your work life balance and wants to find a group practice where you can feel supported while also maintaining your autonomy and individuality. You're looking to mostly work independently but with admin support and group consultation. If this sounds like you, keep reading!

The Fig Tree Wellness is a small, slowly growing, practice based in Chicago. I'm not very interested in being someone's boss but I am interested in cultivating a community that can rely on each other for support, consultation, and community in a field that can get a bit lonely. I'm hoping to offer the right mix of independence and support to create a collaborative and comfortable work environment for both of us!

ME:

Position Details:

This is a 10-99 position. In order to offer a fee split that I feel is fair I am not able to hire pre-licensed or preliminary licensed individuals at this time. If you'd like clarity on the difference between a 10-99 position and a W-2 I'd be happy to chat with you more about that!

  • Expectations for You:

    • Minimum 5 sessions per week​, max is whatever you're comfortable with

    • Can be completely virtual or hybrid

    • Timely record keeping

    • Attendance at monthly consultation (very flexible)

    • Maintain personal liability insurance

    • Scheduling and contacting your clients

  • What I'll take care of:

    • I will fully credential you with BCBS, Aetna, UHC, and Cigna. These credentials will be under your name and license information so if you ever leave The Fig Tree you won't have to start from scratch. ​

    • All billing including charging cards, submitting claims, following up on unpaid claims, contacting clients about payment issues, updating client's insurance information, and anything else to do with billing. You put the appointment on your calendar and I'll do the rest!

    • Hosting a monthly consultation group where we can ask each other for guidance, share expertise, and develop community (and sometimes talk about reality tv). 

    • I will provide you with:

      • Marketing and networking to help you build your caseload

      • A simple practice provider profile for managing clients and your schedule​

      • A Fig Tree gmail suite

      • A Psychology Today profile

      • A profile on another directory of your choice

      • $100 a year of CEU reimbursement

      • 1-2 days of office space per week depending on caseload

Compensation: This position is for a fully licensed LCPC, MFT, or LCSW only. Compensation will be an 75/25 split.
